Including extensive information about Artists would help DSPs to better handle their content, improve profile matching, publishing royalties, credits, and so on.
Please fill in all the artist’s information that you currently have and be sure to update the Artist profile whenever new artists have any new profile created (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.)
Song-writer and performance roles data will be delivered to DSP’s who accept this information to help with Publishing Royalties and Credits.
Social links and biographical info will be used in various places such as Soundcloud posts (artist tagging), YouTube posts, zip-mailer .info files, WordPress plugin generated pages, and other relevent places.
Apple Music URL, Spotify, Facebook and Instagram URL’s will be used to associate the artist to the appropriate profile on those platforms.
Note: Updating the artist photo here DOES NOT affect artist profile photos that appear on AppleMusic or Spotify.
