This guide will walk you through the process of uploading your track to YouTube via LabelGrid. Follow these steps to ensure a smooth and effective upload.

1. Access YouTube Uploads

  1. Navigate to Distribution in your LabelGrid dashboard.

  2. Click on YouTube Uploads.

  3. Press the Add YouTube Queue button located on the far right.

2. Authenticate Your Profile

Ensure you have authenticated your profile before proceeding to the upload. This step is crucial for connecting your LabelGrid account with your YouTube channel.

3. Select Upload Options

  1. Choosing Upload Type: You have the option to upload individual tracks. To do this, select the Individual Tracks input and choose the track you wish to upload.

  2. YouTube Destination: In the YouTube Destination field, select the YouTube account where you want to post the video.

  3. Scheduled Delivery: Set your preferred scheduled delivery time for the upload.

4. Track Upload Options

  • Full Track or Label Settings: You may upload the entire track. If you prefer to use your label settings (that you did during label setup), leave this turned off.

Label Settings: All your usual label settings, configured previously, will remain intact during this process.

5. Add Metadata

  1. YouTube Description: Enter your desired description for the video upload.

  2. Tags: Include relevant tags to help categorize your track effectively.

  3. Voiceover: If preferred, enable the Apply Voiceover option to add a voiceover over the track.

6. Customize Video Layout

You can select from various video layouts:

  • Blurred art background with a square packshot

  • Packshot only

  • Art background with a square packshot

  • Include Visuals: LabelGrid offers generated visuals that can be displayed in your video.

7. Privacy Settings

  • Privacy Status: Choose the desired privacy status for your video:

    • Public

    • Private

    • Unlisted

8. Clip Settings

  • Clip Start Time:

    • Leave blank if you want the clip generator to select the start time automatically.

    • Set a specific start time if you have one in mind.

  • Clip Length:

    • Specify the desired clip length in seconds. If you want the full-length version, leave the clip length field empty.
