Fake plays and artificial streaming fraud

Our streaming partners, like Spotify, Apple, and other DSPs, heavily monitor suspicious activity and continuously build new tools to combat stream manipulation. If they detect artificial streams, they send distributors like LabelGrid a report highlighting content they have flagged. Once LabelGrid receives such reports, we review them internally and then share them with the customer.

Buying fake plays or engaging in artificial streaming is strictly prohibited by LabelGrid. If one of our partners sends LabelGrid a report highlighting streaming fraud or if unusual streaming activity is detected through LabelGrid's monitoring systems, LabelGrid may suspend your account per our Terms of Service (TOS) and content guidelines. LabelGrid or DSPs can also take down your content from services at any time at their discretion.

LabelGrid may, similarly, hold any royalties if the terms of service have been breached. Failure to resolve disputes may result in permanent account suspension and further consequences.

Dispute Process:
If you receive a report from LabelGrid about suspicious streaming activity, you can submit a formal dispute within 7 days of receiving the notice by contacting legal@labelgrid.com. We aim to review disputes within seven business days, although response times may vary based on the case's complexity.
