Manual and automatic installation instructions for the plugin.

 

Please verify that your server run the latest PHP/MYSQL/MARIA versions: Please check the WordPress Requirements.

Install Requirements

  1. Verify and eventually disable any plugin or theme that make use of any of these Post-types/Taxonomies.

Manual install

  1. Retrieve the latest version from the LabelGrid Tools Official WordPress Repository.

  2. Upload label-grid-tools folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.

  3. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.

Automatic install

  1. In your WordPress Admin, go to Plugins > Add New and search for the LabelGrid Tools plugin.

  2. Install and Activate the plugin.

After installation

  1. Important! You must setup CRON to properly use this plug-in.

  2. Create new pages for “Artists”, “Releases” and "Free Downloads" and add the provided Shortcodes "lists". This will enable Release, Artists and Free Download Gate pages listing.​

  3. Optional: Setup LabelGrid API to enable all LabelGrid features including Gated Downloads and Catalog updates.

  4. Optional: Setup Spotify API to enable Spotify (Pre)Save functionalities.

LabelGrid API Setup

For LabelGrid Customers with the API services enabled

  1. Get your LabelGrid API token from us and use it in the steps below.

  2. Go to WordPress Dashboard > LabelGrid Tools > General Settings and add your LabelGrid API Token.

  3. ​Sync your content with LabelGrid Servers.

LabelGrid Sync and LabelGrid Gate functionalities will be enabled only while using an authorized LabelGrid API Token.

Google Analytics

LabelGrid Tools can easily send advanced tracking information to Google Analytics.
