1. Launch the "Send to Shops" form

To get started with distributing your release, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Catalog > Releases in your LabelGrid dashboard.

  2. Locate the release you want to distribute and open the Actions Menu (Right column, represented by a paperplan icon) next to the release.

  3. Select "Send to Shops" from the actions menu to begin the distribution process.

Alternatively, you can select the release by checking the box on the left-hand side of the release name. Once selected, use the bar menu at the bottom of the screen and select "Send to Shops" from there to distribute your release.

2. Send to Shops form:

By default, all digital service providers (DSPs) associated with your label are automatically included when submitting a new release. Since this is a fresh delivery, there’s no need to make any changes to the DSP selection unless you specifically want to exclude or modify the list of platforms.

Simply review the information, and if everything is correct, you can proceed to submit the form without adjusting any settings. This ensures your release is distributed to all available DSPs connected to your label.

Choosing which shops (DSPs) to include:

The default shops provided in your list should work well for most labels. However, there are exceptions for specific platforms that specialize in electronic music, such as Beatport and Juno, among a few others.

Please remember that Beatport requires prior approval before adding new labels to their platform.

If you need any special shop configurations—such as customizing your list or excluding certain shops—or if you're uncertain about the inclusion of specific platforms, please create a support ticket. We will assist you in setting up the right distribution channels tailored to your needs.

3. Submit the form

Press submit, and LabelGrid will start to prepare your release for distribution.
