LabelGrid provides a way to upload music to your SoundCloud account directly. Head to this guide first and set up your account to authorise SoundCloud.

• Find the release you wish to upload to SoundCloud and click on the three dots to load the menu.

• Click on ‘Post to SoundCloud.'

• LabelGrid will give you complete control over metadata, buy links, genre, audio, voice-over and posting schedule.

• Once you have completed the form, press submit. LabelGrid will queue your tracks for upload.

• To find your pending upload, head to Distribution > SoundCloud.

Metadata

Populate the correct metadata for SoundCloud on this form. Everything you add here will be sent to SoundCloud along with your music.

Buy Link

Using the Buy Link page will add a buy link to the associated track. You’re welcome to add a Call To Action and a custom buy link.

Genre

We recommend you turn this on if you care about Soundcloud Charts, Soundcloud Radio, and Soundcloud Discovery algorithm placement. We will turn this on automatically if your track genre matches one of Soundcloud's official genres.

If you leave this box checked, we will use the official Soundcloud genre, Dance & EDM, on your Soundcloud upload. Otherwise, uncheck the box if you would like to override this feature and use the custom genre, Dance. *Using custom genres may limit your potential reach on Soundcloud.

Audio

Choose the clip start time and clip length. The default settings are based on your label settings. Leave clip length blank if you would like to have full-length clips. Set the clip start to 0 if you would like to start from the beginning.

Voice-over

A voice-over/watermark can be applied to each track. This option can only be used if you have uploaded a voice-over file in your label settings.

Schedule

You can choose when LabelGrid posts your music to SoundCloud. This is useful if you are gradually dripping out music in the lead-up to a release date.
